There are 7 “Trappiste” monastery breweries in the world, 6 Belgian & 1 from the Netherlands. Six are represented on our list & the 7th, Westvleteren, has been, on rare occasion, sighted here. The Dutch Trappist, Koningshoeven in Tilburg, was reinstated to the Trappist Association in 2005.

A completely unique Trappis Ale, aged in a variety of different oak barrels, some new and some that have been used for other spirts and wines. In the aging cellar, you would find port, sherry, whisky, & red wine barrels all filled with this uad, and aged to perfection. These beers are blended in specific proportions to make ech batch of Oak Aged Quad, but no two batches are the same. 10%
